S-Trend are very pleased to today announce our exciting partnership opportunity with the AFL NSW/ACT. We are now one of 6 licensees that supply apparel to over 290 clubs who participate in the AFL NSW/ACT leagues. The league encompasses 14 leagues, and covers four predominant sub-regions: ACT/South Coast, Sydney/Illawarra, Greater Western Sydney and Northern NSW.
This is an exciting expansion to our ongoing partnership with the AFL, after being the official apparel partner to the AFL’s Diversity Programs for over four years. The Multicultural Programs have been established to ensure Australian football encourages community strengthening and inclusion within the wider Australian community. The AFL’s Multicultural programs enable more young talent to be identified and give more opportunities to aspiring young AFL players. S-Trend have been supplying apparel for the Indigenous and Multicultural Program since 2013. Each year, this is around 3000 uniforms, for team members and staff both on and off the playing field.
Here at S-Trend, we have maintained this positive relationship with the AFL over the years by adjusting uniforms to meet the needs of the ever-changing and evolving competition. In 2014, S-Trend worked with the AFL Multicultural Program to tailor new cuts and work with new fabrics to meet the requirements of the AFL Post Multicultural Player Ambassadors.
Similarly in 2016, S-Trend worked with Bachar Houli, Ahmed Saad and other AFL players to further design the men’s range of Multicultural Program uniforms. In 2015, S-Trend began designing women’s uniforms, to develop a comfortable, well-fitted uniform for females playing AFL. This being one of the most exciting expansions to our range.
Again, S-Trend are extremely proud to announce this partnership as an official licensee of AFL NSW/ACT, to provide high quality, performance uniforms.
